Hive Mind is an interactive tunnel of light created in collaboration with students from Backstage Academy. The artwork is centred around themes of unity and sustainability and influenced by the Manchester bee as a symbol for community. Hive Mind reflects on what humanity can achieve when we come together as a hive in face of the climate crisis, as well as how our individual actions can create ripple effects.
The 3D printed sculpture is sustainably sourced and the materials will be reused and recycled.
